Update 08.01.2021. 361 new cases of infection with coronavirus have been confirmed, 573 have recovered

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia informs that as of 11:00, on January 8, a total of 161,415 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of whom 147,961 have recovered and 2,908 are fatal. At present 9,850 patients are being treated for coronavirus. In total 604,686 tests have been performed.

On January 8,  361 new positive cases have been registered, 573 have recovered, 7 deaths. 1,700 tests have been performed yesterday.

1 death was reported the previous day when the patient was diagnosed with a coronavirus infection, but died of another illness. The total number of such cases is 696.
