Esteemed representatives of national minorities of the Republic of Armenia,
I congratulate you all on the occasion of National Minorities Day.
This day holds significant symbolic importance for the Republic of Armenia. It serves as yet another opportunity to emphasize that the cultural and ethnic diversity of our country is one of its vital values, anchored in our shared citizenship. Through their citizenship of the Republic of Armenia, representatives of various ethnic groups have united to form a single entity: the people of the Republic of Armenia.
The Republic of Armenia is committed to ensuring the protection of every citizen's rights and freedoms, including the right to preserve and develop their national identity, native language, culture, traditions, and religious distinctiveness.
For centuries, the national minorities of our country have contributed to shaping Armenia’s history, culture, and social life. Today, they continue to actively participate in the social, economic, educational, cultural, and community life of the Republic of Armenia, enriching the characterization of our society.
Respect for diversity, the assurance of equal opportunities, mutual trust, and tolerance are key pillars of a democratic society. Therefore, consistent work toward protecting the rights of national minorities and ensuring their full participation is a major priority for our state.
We will continue to foster a society where every individual has the opportunity to freely preserve and develop their national and cultural identity, while simultaneously participating fully in shaping the future of the Republic of Armenia.
On this important day, I wish peace, prosperity, success, and new achievements to the representatives of the national minorities of the Republic of Armenia.
May the diversity of our country continue to serve as a solid foundation for mutual respect, solidarity, and unity.
I congratulate us all on the occasion of National Minorities Day.
