Suren Papikyan and Toivo Klaar discussed the latest regional developments

Minister of Defense of Armenia Suren Papikyan held a meeting with EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Toivo Klaar on January 23.

“Toivo Klaar expressed his concerns regarding the situation around Lachin Corridor. We discussed the latest regional developments. We expressed hope that a decision will be made at the EU foreign ministerial committee session on carrying out a new EU civilian monitoring mission in territory of Armenia,” Minister Papikyan said on social media.

The Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin also participated in the meeting.
