Unemployment has decreased in Armenia, level of employment has increased

Unemployment rate in Armenia in the first quarter of 2021 as compared to the same period in 2020 decreased by 2.7 percentage points, making 17% instead of 19.7%. We learned about this from the publication of the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

At the same time, the employment rate increased by 1.5 percentage points to 46.6% instead of 45.1%.
