Earthquake - 33 km northeast of Nakhichevan city, tremors were also felt in RA Vayk, Yeghegnadzor and Syunik regions

On January 21, at 11:23 pm local time (19:23 GMT), the seismological network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia registered an earthquake in the Nakhichevan-Armenia border zone, 33 km north-east of Nakhichevan. The depth of the epicenter is 10 km, the magnitude of the earthquake is 3.8.

The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 5 points. The earthquake was felt in Vayk, Yeghegnadzor cities of Vayots Dzor region of RA and in a number of settlements of Syunik region with 3-4 magnitude.
