In 7 months of this year, the industry in Armenia has grown by 1.3% as compared to the same period of the previous year. 1lurer.am was informed about this by the Statistical Committee. The volume of mining increased by 20.9%, the production of electricity by 2.2%.
However, in January-July, the manufacturing industry decreased by 3.6%. The food industry decreased by 1.7%, the beverage industry by 9% and the tobacco industry - by 21.5%.
