Birth rate growth has been registered in Armenia this year. According to the Statistical Committee of Armenia, 19,530 children were born in January-July, 158 more than in the same period last year. In 2019 the number of births in January-July was 19,372, and in 2018 - 19,652.
The death toll during the period was 17,136, compared to 15,793 last year. According to the Statistical Committee, the natural increase in the seven months of this year is 2,394, last year it was 3,579.
