The spokesman of the Minister of Defence Artsrun Hovhannisyan informed that in the result of the shots fired on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border the previous day the contract ssoldier, Hayk Tevoyan 40 years old, died.
Two civilians were wounded and were transported to the Noyemberyan medical center. The governor of Koti village Felix Melikyan mentioned that the condition of the wounded is satisfying and their lives are safe.
"Yesterday evening shots continued to be fired along the border of Tavush region till midnight, they were firing from different caliber weapons, large caliber machine guns and snipers, 60 and 80mm mortars. Some damage was done to the villages but the situation is under control, the enemy's fire was silenced.
In the result of the tension of previous two days the enemy had losses about which is written in Azerbaijan sites" said the spokesman of the Minister of Defence.
