The 70th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 23rd anniversary of Shushi liberation were celebrated in Armavir. Armenian and Russian officers were side by side just like 70 years ago.
This is one of those singular days when the governor of the region Ashot Ghahramanyan wears his general's uniform to communicate as equals with those who have military biography.
After the congratulation words and best wishes to the fighters of two heroic wars on behalf of the Prime Minister commemorative medals and on behalf of the government of the region money prizes were given to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
