The film is based on a biography book depicting the life of Chuck Barris. In the 1960s he was the author of the most famous entertainment TV programs. But sometimes he had to face difficulties. Once during a regular crisis Chuck was offered a job at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Urgently needing money, he agrees.
Passing some military preparedness, Chuck completely masters the art of claiming human lives. Thus he starts living with 2 lives – in the first one he kills the enemies of the government and in the other he is an undertaker of popular TV shows.
