President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received Turkish Parliament Member Garo Paylan.
The President welcomed the visit of the Parliamentarian of Armenian descent to Armenia.
During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of questions related to the process of normalizing the relations between Armenia and Turkey, as well as the possibilities and prospects of opening the borders between the two states.
The sides also touched upon the settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, establishment of sustainable and lasting peace in the region and issues of the pan-Armenian agenda.
Garo Paylan expressed his gratitude to the President for the reception and emphasized his eagerness to contribute to the solution of these problems to the extent possible.
