The National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the Institute of Molecular Biology of the National Academy of Sciences and the Armenian-Russian University, continues to carry out molecular genetic research on samples of patients with coronavirus disease with positive PCR.
Samples are taken from patients with double-positive PCR, patients with coronavirus disease, and those who tested positive entering the country by air.
As a result of continuous laboratory tests, the Omicron variant was found in tested another seven samples in Armenia.
