Andrei Myagkov, People's Artist of Russian SFSR, died at the age of 83, RIA Novosti reports.
Myagkov was born on 8 July 1938 in St. Petersburg. He studied chemical engineery in Leningrad Institute of Technology. In one of the amateur performances he was noticed by one of the teachers of the Moscow Art Theatre School.
Andrey Myagkov became very popular in 1975 for his roles in Eldar Ryazanov's films, such as “The Irony of Fate or Enjoy Your Bath” and “Office Romance”.
