Vladimir Putin congratulates Armen Sargsyan on New Year and Christmas

The RF President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sargsyan on the occasion of the New Year and Christmas.

"I hope that this year's difficulties and worries will be a thing of the past. I would like to reaffirm our commitment to the further development of the Russian-Armenian allied cooperation for the benefit of our two brotherly peoples, for the benefit of strengthening peace and security in the Transcaucasian region.

I wish you, your relatives and friends good health, happiness and success, and all the citizens of Armenia - peace and prosperity", the congratulatory message of the Russian President reads.

On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sargsyan was presented with a souvenir collection of stamps dedicated to the hero of the Soviet Union Gevorg Vardanyan.
