The restoration works of "Syunik" airport in Kapan have been completed

The RA Civil Aviation Committee informs that within the framework of the small aviation development program in the Republic of Armenia, the restoration works of the "Syunik" airport in the city of Kapan (Syunik region) have been completed.

With the direct support of the Civil Aviation Committee, Syunik Airport LLC completely repaired the artificial cover of the airport runway and platform, built a new passenger complex, and installed a new perimeter fence in accordance with international standards.

It is planned to operate an L-410 aircraft with up to 19 seats at Syunik Airport. The newly developed flight-landing schemes do not envisage the use of Azerbaijani airspace.
