The NA "My Step" faction made a statement calling not to hold rallies in support of the government.
"Dear compatriots, we learned from the Internet that the servicemen, volunteers who returned from the front line, as well as a number of citizens, have convened a rally in support of the Armenian authorities in the Republic Square today - in connection with the latest domestic political developments.
Given the martial law in the country and the dangers of the coronavirus epidemic, please do not organize crowded gatherings.
We thank everyone for their heroic support to the homeland and we assure you that we will justify it with our daily work. Realizing the current situation and our responsibility in it, we ask you to unite and direct all our potential to the reconstruction of the homeland", the statement of the "My Step" faction reads.
