"The process of resolving the Karabakh crisis, which is at an acute stage, should not and can not be an arena for competition", said the Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov, answering the question, do the Kremlin think that the United States has managed to do much more in the direction of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement than Russia?

Peskov stressed that Russia, as the co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, is ready to welcome any step that will help end the war. "Now we continue to closely monitor the situation on the line of contact. We believe that there can be no other solution to the conflict than peaceful solution" he said.
