The French Foreign Ministry calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan for a dialogue

The French Foreign Ministry condemns the military clash on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and  calls the parties to maintain the ceasefire, resume the dialogue.

"We condemn the armed clashes that killed several people. We call on both sides to respect the ceasefire and resume dialogue to avoid escalation.

As a co-chair of the Minsk Group, France, together with its Russian-American counterparts, reaffirms its commitment to a lasting negotiated settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict based on international law", the statement said.
