"Today, at around 12:30, the servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, for reasons we do not understand, tried to cross the RA state border in the direction of Tavush with an UAZ car", informed Shushan Stepanyan, spokeswoman for the RA Ministry of Defense.
"After the warning of the Armenian side, the Azerbaijani servicemen left their UAZ car and returned to their position.
At 13: 45 the servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces repeated the attempt to occupy the Armenian border position, using artillery fire, but were suppressed by the Armenian side, suffered losses and being thrown back.
There are no losses from the Armenian side", the Defense Ministry spokeswoman wrote on her Facebook page.
