Today the National Assembly adopted the draft of the Constitutional amendments submitted by a group of deputies of the "My Step" faction, by which it is proposed to replace the President of the Constitutional Court and send to retirement three members of the Constitutional Court.

In this connection the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page.

"The National Assembly adopted the amendments to the Constitution, by which the incumbent President of the Constitutional Court is dismissed, and three members of the Constitutional Court are sent to retirement.

The amendment to the "NA Rules of Procedure" law was adopted, which will come into force after being signed by the President of the Republic. After that the NA Speaker will sign the package of Constitutional amendments and since that moment the President of the Constitutional Court will be considered dismissed and the powers of the three judges of the Constitutional Court will cease.
