The President of the Republic of Artsakh received the Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces

On 16 June President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan received Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia Onik Gasparyan. This was reported by the Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President.

The Minister of Defense of the Artsakh Jalal Harutyunyan also took part in the meeting during which number of issues related to army building and cooperation between the two Armenian republics in the field of defense were discussed.

The Artsakh President congratulated Onik Gasparyan on his appointment to a responsible post, noting that his experience, professionalism and knowledge will greatly contribute to the continuous strengthening of the Armed Forces.
