Ambassador Mkrtchyan discusses regional security and cooperation with Brookings Institution

Ambassador Narek Mkrtchyan participated in a roundtable discussion on the Armenia-United States agenda with representatives of the Brookings Institution and other think tanks, Armenian Embassy to the US reports.

The Ambassador presented the bilateral agenda, emphasizing the importance of recent visits to Armenia by senior U.S. officials, the agreements reached during those visits, the documents that were signed, and the steps being taken to deepen the strategic partnership.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan also spoke about the main areas of bilateral cooperation, including critical minerals, high technologies, and energy security, highlighting the importance of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.

The participants also discussed opportunities for enhancing regional security and cooperation, as well as a number of issues related to the peace process established in Armenia.
