Suren Papikyan discussed with his Georgian counterpart issues and tasks of cooperation in field of defense

Today, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, engaged in a telephone conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Defence of Georgia, Irakli Chikovani.

During the discussion, Minister Papikyan extended his congratulations to Minister Chikovani on his recent appointment to the position of Minister of Defence of Georgia.

Interlocutors deliberated on the current agenda of bilateral cooperation in the defence sector and forthcoming initiatives, exchanging perspectives on security issues.

Both Ministers reaffirmed their commitment to further advancing the bilateral relations between Armenia and Georgia.
