Germany expressed readiness to support reforms implemented in armed forces of Armenia

On February 17th, within the scope of the working visit to Germany, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, and the Minister of Defence of Germany, Boris Pistorius, held a brief meeting.

The interlocutors discussed the progress of Armenian-German cooperation, expressing satisfaction with the current state and agreeing to further expand cooperation.

Both Ministers emphasized the significance of security and stability in the South Caucasus region.

The German side expressed readiness to provide assistance for the ongoing reforms in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
