The largest party family of the old world the European People's Party adopted a resolution titled "Armenian Genocide and European values" on 3rd March.
The document consists of 9 points and is a specific declaration of a legal documentation, solid and comprehensive addressed to Turkey the successor of the criminal republic and to the international public. The EPP reaffirms the fact of the Armenian Genocide and the forced displacement of Armenian people.
The deputies condemn it and demand from Ankara to repent and materially and morally compensate Armenians. The party calls to every European institution to pay special attention to the international recognition of Armenian Genocide and Turkey to face its own history.
