The representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visited the Armenians detained in Baku in January. Zara Amatuni, head of the communication programs of the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Armenia, told 'Lurer' that the representatives of the organization had private conversations with the persons detained in Azerbaijan, each of them was given the opportunity to contact their relatives.
The representatives of the Red Cross assessed the health condition of the persons, the conditions of detention and the attitude towards them.
Eight former officials of Nagorno-Karabakh are also among those captured.
The trial in their case will begin on January 17 in Baku.
