Reporting in Politico's article is inaccurate and in no way reflects what Secretary Blinken said to lawmakers, US State Department says

The US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller answered “Lurer”’s question regarding the alleged information in “Politico” on State Secretary Antony Blinken’s announcement in Congress. The website said Blinken told the lawmakers Azerbaijan is planning to attack Armenia in coming weeks. 

“The United States strongly supports Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.  We have stressed that any infringement of that sovereignty and territorial integrity would bring serious consequences. The reporting in this article is inaccurate and in no way reflects what Secretary Blinken said to lawmakers”, Miller said in an answer provided to “Lurer”.
