We do not agree with opinion of Azerbaijani President: Pashinyan about captives

“We do not agree with the opinion of the Azerbaijani President that all the points of the November 9, 2020 tripartite announcement have been implemented, except for the unblocking of communications”. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during the trilateral meeting in Sochi reacting to the announcement of Aliyev.

“You know that we have discussed it with you a number of times, both face to face and in the phone conversations that there is an issue of captives, POWs and other illegal detainees and it is a very important humanitarian issue”, said Pashinyan.

He also stressed that the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should be under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Co-Chairs. “Armenia is ready to start the negotiations on the demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border”, added Nikol Pashinyan.
