"We are in daily contact with our European partners, both in Brussels and in other capitals, working in several areas, from the recognition of the independence of Artsakh, the recognition of the people's right to self-determination to sanctions and humanitarian aid". The RA Deputy Foreign Minister Avet Adonts stated that in the parliament.

He noted that in terms of the recognition of Artsakh, the RA embassies are actively working, there are achievements. "Artsakh's independence has been recognized by a number of cities in France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the Czech Republic. Recognition at the level of local self-government, I think, is an important precondition to ensure further developments", Adonts said.
