According to the 2020 training plan, early in the morning, at 05:00, under the leadership of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the command-staff military exercises of the military units located in the south-eastern direction of the Republic of Armenia have been started.

The RA Ministry of Defense spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan wrote about this on her Facebook page.

 "The purpose of the exercise is to check the combat readiness of the troops and take measures to reduce the timing of measures, to test and improve the capabilities of the managing bodies in preparing and conducting operations, playing of episodes of repelling the enemy's aggression and crushing its strike groups, as well as clarifying issues of cooperation between the military unit and the forces and means designated for support in that direction", the speaker wrote.
