The RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan posted a video from the "Let's Build Armenia in a New Way" series on his Facebook page.
The video states that the Tatev-Aghvani-Kapan strategic highway is being built. Currently 12.5 km of the road is being renovated. The contract value is 1 billion 170 million drams. The new asphalt road will significantly reduce the time to reach Kapan.
In 2019 It was renovated from the "Satani" Bridge to the 6 km section of the Tatev-Aghvani road. In 2021 It is planned to renovate 17.5 km of the Tatev-Aghvani-Kapan road, and 10 km in 2020. The road was last repaired in 1980s.
