Aronian will take part in the online rapid chess tournament

Armenian super grandmaster Leon Aronian will take part in the "Lindores Abbey Rapid Challenge" online rapid chess tournament which will take place from May 19 to June 3. The tournament's prize fund is $ 150,000. The winner of the tournament will receive 45 thousand dollars, the finalist - 27 thousand dollars. 

This is the second round of the "Magnus Carlsen Chess Tour". Aronian did not participate in the first round due to his wife's death. 

Famous grandmasters Magnus Carlsen, Ding Liren, Wei Yi, Yan, Jin, Alexander Grischuk, Sergey Karjakin, Daniel Dubov, Wesley Sohn, Hikaru Nakamura, other prominant chessplayers will also take part in the tournament.
