Ahead of COP17, I met with the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment of the Republic of Cyprus, Christos Senekis. This was reported by the Minister of Environment, Hambardzum Matevosyan.
“We discussed the opportunities for the development of Armenian-Cypriot cooperation in the field of environmental protection, emphasizing the practical implementation of the agreements reached during previous meetings and the development of a joint action plan.
We touched upon the exchange of experience in the fields of biodiversity conservation, management of specially protected areas and waste management, as well as cooperation within the framework of COP17,” the Minister stated.
