Agricultural products exported from Armenia are of very high quality, and proof of this is that our products quickly found their way into the markets of the Middle East, Central Asia and the European Union, replacing the Russian market. Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan made the statement during preliminary discussions of the 2027 state budget at a joint session of the National Assembly’s Standing Committees on Economic Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs.
“Moreover, they had already reached one-third of the volume, which is quite good, because we ourselves did not expect to see such a change. And what is this due to? For example, the same greenhouse that exists in France also exists in Armenia, and the materials used to process the products are available in Armenia,” the Minister said, stressing that Armenian products meet high standards and enjoy an enviable advantage within the Eurasian Economic Union, adding that they can be said to be beyond competition in the EAEU market.
“Their quality characteristics are very high, and that is why our products were able to enter the European Union market and other markets so quickly,” he said.
