The Dagestan administration of "Rosselkhoznadzor" banned the import of 61.2 tons of vegetable products from Azerbaijan. According to the organization, a ban was placed on 3 batches of fresh tomatoes, 47.2 tons, and 1 batch of fresh strawberries, 14 tons. They were intended for further sale in Russia. Trucks with goods were returned to the importing country.
The reason for the return of the products was that during the documentary checks, facts of uncertified corrections in the phytosanitary certificates, as well as inconsistency of the sample information with the phytosanitary certificates, were revealed.
