Prosecutor’s Office received request from Vahagn Harutyunyan’s attorney
General Prosecutor’s Office of Armenia has received a request from Vahagn Harutyunyan’s attorney Mihran Poghosyan to stop the search for his client. Harutyunyan is the former head of March 1 case investigation group.
Vahagn Harutyunyan is charged pursuant to clause1, part 3, art. 38-349 of the RA Criminal Code (falsification of evidence in case of grave crimes), part 2, art. 308 (abuse of power with unintended serious consequences) and part 2, art. 309 (abuse of power accompanied with violence, use of weapons or special means).
