Armenia's Economy and Iran's Ministers of Cultural Heritage and Tourism discussed prospects of cooperation in field of tourism

Armenia's Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan discussed prospects for cooperation in the tourism sector with a delegation led by Iranian Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Seyed Reza Salehi-Amiri on Wednesday, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Economy reports.

During the meeting, the deepening of current relations between the two countries was discussed, including prospects for cooperation in the tourism sector, increasing awareness of the current potential in this area in both countries, boosting tourist flows, and developing medical tourism.

Papoyan with his counterpart also discussed the upcoming meeting of the technical commission on tourism cooperation between the two countries and the possibility of organizing a familiarization visit for Iranian media representatives to Armenia in 2025.
