Papoyan and UK Ambassador discussed issues related to development of economic relations between two countries

Minister of Economy of Armenia Gevorg Papoyan has met with the UK Ambassador John Gallagher and the UK’s Trade Commissioner for Eastern Europe and Central Asia Kenan Poleo.

Possibilities of development of tourism, services, trade, infrastructures and promotion of investments were discussed. Encouraging direct ties between business circles was highlighted.

The Minister emphasized that Armenia offers numerous possibilities for investors and the country’s legal framework and state policy are aimed at attracting investments.

In context of investment possibilities and sustainable economic development, Papoyan presented the details of the 'Crossroads of Peace' project developed by the Armenian Government.The sides discussed a broad circle of issues pertaining to the development of economic relations between the two countries.
