Zelensky awarded Parajanov posthumously with 'National Legend of Ukraine' award
By the decree of the President of Ukraine, Sergey Parajanov was posthumously awarded the 'National Legend of Ukraine" insignia "for significant personal achievements in the formation and strengthening of independent Ukraine, defense of the motherland and service to the Ukrainian people, development of national art, sports, healthcare, charitable and socially fruitful activities."
