Safe existence of Armenians of Artsakh within Azerbaijan is impossible: RA NA Speaker

“I think that barbarism, the attitude towards Armenians who are held captive or in other status in Azerbaijan, the opening of a disgraceful Armenaphobic ‘park’ in Baku a few weeks ago recently prove that the safe existence of Artsakh’s Armenians within Azerbaijan is impossible, and the world must recognize the right of Artsakh’s Armenians to self-determination. This is Armenia’s position and it doesn’t change,” stated Speaker of Parliament Ararat Mirzoyan, commenting on the fact that Azerbaijanis distort Shushi’s Ghazanchetsots Church under the pretext of ‘renovation works’.

According to Ararat Mirzoyan, it is necessary to work closely with international partners in this direction.
