Update. 18.10.2020. 1,694 new cases of infection with coronavirus have been confirmed, 179 have recovered

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia informs that as of 11:00, on October 18, a total of 64,694 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of whom 48,104 have recovered and 1,081 are fatal. At present 15,193 patients are being treated for coronavirus. In total 348,149 tests have been performed.

On October 18,  1,694 new positive cases have been registered, 179 have recovered, 14 deaths (men 64, 68, 66, 89, 72, 81, 67, 46 women 65, 71, 59, 71, 81, 68). All of them had side chronical diseases. 4,096  tests have been performed yesterday.

2 deaths were reported the previous day when the patients were diagnosed with a coronavirus infection, but died of another illness. The total number of such cases is 316.
