Kocharyan will be released on 2 billion AMD bail
The key defendant of the "March 1" case Robert Kocharyan will be released from custody on bail of 2 billion drams. The Judge of the Criminal Court of Appeal Arsen Nikoghosyan has just announced the decision.
Robert Kocharyan is accused of undermining the constitutional order after the 2008 presidential election, as well as of taking particularly large bribes. He has been in custody since June 25, 2019.
Kocharyan is currently in "Izmirlian Medical Center", receiving postoperative treatment.
