The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Armenia is 9492, and it seems that the forecast was true that by the end of May we will have about 10 thousand cases. The Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan stated this today.

He noted that the issue of overcrowding of hospital beds remains tense, in particular, in terms of resuscitation beds. The Minister informed that at the moment we have 440 citizens in severe, and 55 in extremely severe condition16 of whom are connected to the artificial respiration device.

"We do not see any tendencies to improve the situation yet, we must continue the anti-epidemic measures", Torosyan said. He noted that the number of mobile laboratories is increasing, and accordingly, the number of detected cases is increasing. "We will treat only critically ill patients in hospital, asymptomatic patients will be treated at home", Torosyan said.
