Following the disastrous earthquake of 1988, Gyumri teenager Murad Amirkhanyan found himself in France which was then providing temporary shelter to orphans.
Today he is known under the artistic name Adam Barro – singing in world’s best opera houses and concert halls. He also teaches at the Russian Conservatory after Rachmaninoff in Paris.
