On October 8, 2026, a technical meeting was held in the city of Goris, Republic of Armenia, between representatives of the relevant agencies of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, devoted to issues related to the placement of power transmission lines within the framework of the TRIPP project. This was reported by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.
“During the meeting, the parties discussed technical issues related to the placement of power transmission lines, as well as exchanged views on the relevant positions in this area.
Special attention was paid to issues related to coordination between the relevant bodies and to the further steps necessary to advance the work,” the statement said.
