Mirzoyan and Bourita discussed opportunities for further development of relations between Armenia and Morocco

Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ararat Mirzoyan met with Nasser Bourita, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade said in a press release that the ministers discussed possibilities for further developing relations between Armenia and Morocco, emphasizing the mutual political readiness to establish closer ties between the two countries.

Minister Mirzoyan and Minister Bourita exchanged views on expanding the bilateral legal framework, organizing high-level reciprocal visits, as well as mechanisms for promoting trade and economic ties.

They also touched upon cooperation in multilateral platforms and regional developments.
