Deputy Chief of General Staff of Armenian Armed Forces discussed issues related to development of cooperation in Italy
Major-general Karen Grigoryan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, recently led a delegation to Italy to participate in the Armenia-Italy 2024 Defense Cooperation Program (ITA4) event.
During a meeting with Italian Armed Forces Engineering Brigade Commander Brigadier General Gianluca Dello Monaco and several other high-ranking officials, the Armenian delegation discussed a number of issues related to the development and deepening of defense cooperation both within the framework of EU and NATO, as well as bilaterally, the defense ministry said in a press release.
The Italian side presented details about the events in their military, the readiness of the engineering troops, training of experts, exercises, as well as the work of engineering units in peacekeeping missions.On behalf of Defense Minister Papikyan, Major-general Grigoryan expressed gratitude for the invitation and reception.
