Mirzoyan and former Minister of Tourism and Antiquity of Egypt discussed prospects of cooperation within framework of UNESCO
On April 12 in Yerevan Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received Khaled El-Enany, Egypt’s former minister for Tourism and Antiquity and current candidate for UNESCO’s Director General.
Topics of bilateral and multilateral agenda were touched upon.
Recalling high-level visits and discussions between Armenia and Egypt, interlocutors discussed prospects for implementation of bilateral projects and further cooperation between the two countries in multilateral fora, in particular in the framework of UNESCO.
Strong civilizational and cultural ties connecting the two nations were emphasised.
