The Khosrov Forest State Reserve with an area of ​​24,000 hectares and about 1,500 species of animals, is as inaccessible and beautiful as it is vulnerable. The forest is turning to ashes by human negligence and natural disasters. In 2017 the forest saw one of the largest wildfires in its history. The lessons of that fire have already been learned. In many highlands water is available today.

The water comes from the spring by gravity and the water containers and pipes are installed in such a way that the nature is not harmed. At the moment, the forest staff has 40 tons of water. Drones have been purchased to detect the fire, and 30  injectors have been added to 10-15 which was in 2017.
