Armenia to apply to International Court of Justice over fact of installation of a checkpoint by Azerbaijan in Lachin Corridor

Armenia is going to apply to the International Court of Justice regarding the installation of an Azerbaijani checkpoint in the Lachin Corridor. In a conversation with ‘Lurer’, the spokesperson of Representative's Office for International Legal Matters of Armenia informed about it.

To remind, yesterday, on April 23, the Azerbaijani side closed the Hakari River Bridge on the Artsakh-Armenia border.

Armenia’s Foreign Ministry strongly condemned Azerbaijan's move to install an illegal checkpoint in the Lachin Corridor.

The Security Council of Artsakh adopted a statement regarding the created situation.

France condemned Azerbaijan's installation of a checkpoint at the beginning of the new road of Lachin Corridor.

The US Department of State issued a statement regarding the illegal installation of a checkpoint by Azerbaijan in the Lachin Corridor.

The Artsakh MFA also issued a statement regarding the installation of an Azerbaijani checkpoint in the Lachin corridor.
